Welcome to Piermont, where tranquillity meets nature’s embrace in an unspoilt bay along Tasmania’s stunning east coast. Surrounded by breathtaking wilderness and underneath some of the darkest skies in the inhabited world, we invite you to join us for an unforgettable two-night retreat.
Enjoy dinners with scientists featuring delicious local produce prepared by chef Calvin King, telescopes, and guided stargazing on the beach with the Astronomical Society of Tasmania, breath workshops, cold water swimming, tours, tastings, and so much more. It’s the perfect way to unwind and refresh at the end of the Beaker Street Festival.

Retreat Ticket Includes:
- Two candlelit dinners with talks by scientists, featuring local and seasonal dishes and including a welcome drink and a warm cocktail by the fire at the end of each evening.
- Generous breakfast provisions to enjoy in the privacy of your accommodation.
- A morning talk on the science of happiness, including coffee, tea, and nibbles.
- A guided tour of Sea Forest HQ & Marine Farm, otherwise closed to the public.
- Telescopes and stargazing on the beach with the Astronomical Society of Tasmania.
- Live music by legendary East Coast singer-songwriter Ange Boxall.

$570 per adult + selected room rates.
Minimum 2-night stay required.
