Immerse yourself in the enchanting ambiance of the 180-year-old Homestead now transformed into the Homestead Restaurant. We work together with neighbouring farmers, local fishers, and Tasmanian winemakers to bring you a constantly evolving, seasonally inspired menu that showcases the region’s diversity of flavours.

Drawing inspiration from the Mediterranean’s vibrant tables and making the most of Tasmania’s abundant local produce including seafood, pasture-raised meats, and seasonal vegetables – we offer a casual yet refined dining experience all year round.

Dinner is served from Tuesday through Saturday. Bookings essential. Open to visitors and guests of the retreat.

  • While the sample menus are a glimpse of what we have on offer, please note they are for reference only.
  • Dinner exclusively features a three-course menu, with the flexibility to add extra courses.
  • Menu adjustments are made solely for allergies and intolerances.
  • With a minimum of 48 hours’ notice, we can accommodate most allergies and intolerances.
  • For children aged 12 and below we will have a red meat or seafood option followed by dessert.

Spend your afternoons enjoying our long lunch by the bay. Choose from the finest local oysters, Moo Brew beer-steamed mussels, Fritto Misto, house made flatbreads and hummus or try our Chef selection Feed Me menu for a taste of everything.

Our seasonal lunch menu is served daily from 12.30pm onwards. Open to visitors and guests of the retreat.

Exclusive Bookings

The Homestead is available for exclusive bookings for up to 40 guests all year round. Chef Calvin King and restaurant manager Carla De Angelis collaborate to craft a bespoke dining experience tailored to your special occasion. Naturally, we showcase locally sourced produce and ingredients, and our curated drinks selection features a variety of Tasmanian wines, gins, whiskies, and beers.
