RECEPTION
Reception is located in our original Homestead, dated back to 1838. The team is available between 8.30 am- 4.30 pm daily. For after-hours assistance please text 0487 399 225.
WIFI
Complimentary WIFI is provided in your Suite. Login details are labelled on the white router box near the TV. The password is piermont. If logging into streaming services please ensure to log out of all accounts upon departure.
HOUSEKEEPING
Your accommodation is serviced on the third day of your stay between 1 pm– 3 pm. Please advise reception if you do not require a service. All Suites, Cottages, and Residences are non-smoking.
CHECKOUT
Check out is by 10am. If you wish to depart early, please contact reception one day before to settle your account. Late checkouts will incur an hourly surcharge.
MEDICAL EMERGENCIES
May Shaw Health Centre is located at 37 Wellington Street, Swansea. Their phone number is (03) 6257 9100. For after-hours emergencies please call 000.
Swansea Pharmacy is open 6 days a week Monday to Saturday. Located opposite IGA at 28 Franklin St, Swansea TAS 7190.
ELECTRIC VEHICLE CHARGING
Electric Vehicle Charging Stations are available to use at your leisure. Please head into Reception to collect the key to unlock the charging cables. Charging stations have a flat rate of $40 per day and can be paid in advance or added to your final account.
HOMESTEAD RESTAURANT
DINNER: Open from 6 pm, Tuesday to Saturday. Influenced by the vibrant dining culture of the Mediterranean and celebrating Tasmania’s rich array of local ingredients, our à la carte menu offers a relaxed yet sophisticated dining experience. Bookings are essential.
LUNCH: Our seasonal lunch menu is served daily from 12.30 pm to 3.00 pm. Bookings are encouraged.

BREAKFAST PROVISIONS
Your first breakfast is on us! Your kitchen is stocked with complimentary breakfast provisions including local eggs, granola, yoghurt, Pigeonhole bread, and preserves.

A basket with some of our favourite snacks is available if you’re feeling peckish! To make a purchase, simply scan the QR code on the price list.
HAMPERS
Homestead Grazing Hampers are available 7 days a week. They include a selection of Tasmanian cheeses, cured meats, dips, chocolates, and other goodies packaged and delivered to your room for $130. To order please email us here or call 0487 399 225.

Always ensure the door is tightly closed.
Please refrain from adjusting the temperature gauge.
RECYCLING
Please separate your recycling and place it into the bin provided. Housekeeping will collect rubbish on the third day of your stay. If you would like an additional rubbish collection please TEXT 0487 399 225.

BIKES
Help yourself to our mountain bikes, a beautiful way to explore Piermont. Bikes and helmets can be found in the bike shed opposite the car park.
TENNIS COURT
Our tennis court is available to use throughout the year, no booking is required. Tennis balls and rackets can be found in the wooden box beside the court.
POOL
Pool towels are located at the pool entrance. Please leave used towels in the baskets provided near the gates. Children must be supervised at all times.
KAYAKS
Kayaks, paddles, and life jackets can be found in the boatshed at the end of Piermont Beach. Always check the weather and water conditions before using the kayaks.
WAIVER
Please ensure a waiver is signed before using any Piermont equipment.
PARKS PASS
You must have a valid pass to enter any national park in Tasmania. There are many types of passes including daily, and passes for all parks or a single park and for a vehicle or individual people. WINEGLASS BAY & MOUNT AMOS
Wineglass Bay and Mount Amos is located in Coles Bay, a scenic destination at the foot of the Hazards and on the edge of Freycinet National Park. Please allow 45 minutes to drive to the park entrance. On the eastern side of the Freycinet Peninsula, there are soaring sea cliffs, secluded coves, and dramatic ocean beaches.
MARIA ISLAND NATIONAL PARK
Embark on an adventure to Maria Island, an extraordinary World Heritage site rich in Australian convict history. This car-free island invites you to explore its breathtaking landscapes—from towering cliffs and pristine beaches to lush forests and mountains. Wander along the island’s trails to discover iconic Tasmanian wildlife like wombats and kangaroos up close, and learn about the island’s unique convict heritage. Accessible by a scenic 30-minute ferry ride from Triabunna, it’s a day-trip destination you’ll never forget, with departures and returns daily.
SUNRISE, SUNSET & THE FULL MOON RISE
Sunrises from the East over the Hazards across the bay. Sunsets in the West behind the amphitheater. If you’re lucky enough to be staying at Piermont during a full moon rise the best place to watch it rise is on the beach. Take a blanket and enjoy! AURORA AUSTRALIS
Aurora australis, also known as the southern lights, is a luminous phenomenon that occurs in the southern hemisphere. It takes the shape of a curtain of light, often green but sometimes red or other colors, and is caused by geomagnetic storms triggered by solar wind and magnetic fields.
