Spend an evening with Ricky Evans, one of Tasmania’s most respected vignerons and the winemaker behind Woodlawn, Havilah Wine and Two Tonne Tasmania. 

Working across three distinctive vineyard sites in the Tamar Valley, Ricky’s approach begins in the vineyard. Sustainable viticulture and classical, minimal-intervention winemaking allow the character of each site to take the lead, producing wines that speak clearly of Tasmania’s cool climate and the places they come from.

Woodlawn represents the top echelon of Ricky’s portfolio, spanning traditional method sparkling and single-vineyard expressions with a particular focus on pinot noir and chardonnay. 

For one night at Piermont, Ricky will take us through a curated selection of Woodlawn wines, sharing the stories of the vineyards, vintages and philosophy behind each bottle.

The evening begins with canapés and a welcome drink before moving into Homestead for a three course dinner by Head Chef, Harsh Ghosh, accompanied by four Woodlawn wine tastings.

This is a night for those who like to know not only what’s in their glass, but where it came from and the hands behind it.
